Congratulations to the Bishop Garrigan Girls Basketball team – Class 1A state champs! The Bears defeated Burlington Notre Dame (77-42), North Lynn (74-57) and ultimately MMCRU (52-49) in an exciting state final.
Molly Joyce was named as 1A all-tournament team captain for her performance throughout the week at state. Teammate Audi Crooks was also named to the all-tournament team. Bishop Garrigan finished the season 25-3, tying the program record for wins in a single season. This was the first state title for the Garrigan basketball program.
