Bishop Garrigan seniors Ava Eisenbarth and Marguerite Fakler have been named outstanding performers and were selected to perform at the 2022 All-State Speech Festival. To be selected for all-state, two different judges must list the competitors as one of the best performers at the state speech contest. Ava Eisenbarth was named to all-state for her literary program performance on skiing, while Marguerite Fakler was selected for her musical theatre performance “Forget About the Boy”.
There are more than 10,000 speech entries in Iowa each year. From those only 400 are selected to perform at all-state. The 2022 All-State Speech Festival will be held Monday, March 28 at the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls.
