A full range of Golden Bear athletic programs are available to both boys and girls at Bishop Garrigan, and in general all students who go out for sports are given an opportunity to play. Garrigan encourages students to be involved in multiple sports and activities, and coaches work together to make sure activity schedules do not conflict. Many of our high school sports are also played in Junior High.
The school competes in Class A or 1A, depending on the sport. In recent years the Bears have made it to the state tournament in football, cross-country, basketball, dance, track and golf. Many Golden Bears have extended their athletic careers, receiving scholarships to play sports in college.
We invite you to come cheer on the Bears. We have the best fan base around!
